Tuesday - Caroline (she's TEN, by the way!) organized a bake sale and raised about $1100 for Miracle Hill Children's Home. Wednesday - Gwynne and her class at Greenville Tech Charter High also baked goodies and raised money for a community improvement project. Thursday - Lindi raised money to help fund animal rescue and care with a local shelter. Friday - Caitlin and her classmates at Langston Charter School raised just less than $500 to defray medical costs for a teacher who's battling cancer. Almost $3000 raised in a week. Countless lives affected. And it all started with just a few dollars and the desire of five ordinary people who decided to accomplish the extraordinary.
